Speaker:
Eric Peltier , Director of Photography at Reardan Studios / TinBox2
Born in a Parisian cab because his mom didn't have time to get out of the editing room, Eric Peltier was fated to return to editing and did he ever! Eric worked in the 80's as a Cameraman/Editor for Canal Plus and Paris Premiere , both major French TV stations. In 1990, Eric left Paris to travel around the world, and experience new cultures. He ended up in San Francisco three- years. Eric ultimately came back to his real calling: Shoot, edit, design and now good wine. For the past 15 years, he has worked as a Director, Director of Photography, and Editor on numerous award-winning documentaries, narrative films, music videos, and commercials. He participated in the development of Apple's Final Cut Pro, and has enjoyed teaching Editing at Bay Area Video Coalition, and the Academy of Art University. For the past 7 years, he has been a leader in High Definition productions, and has acted as technical adviser for a number of projects and studios. Eric has a passion for new media, is always willing to integrate intelligent, cutting-edge ideas in his work, and is constantly experimenting with new ways to tell stories through imagery.

Make a " Reel Impression " by showcasing your work and producing a unique reel that results in a powerful impression and gets you noticed. A strong demo reel is essential to getting your name and work out there , and in the hands of the people who make the decisions. Producers, directors, production managers, festival programmers will view your reel. How do you produce an innovative and original reel that will showcase your true talent? Will the reel stand-out or be prominent over the competition? How do you go about delivering quality DVD's of your film, video, and audio work? An original and innovative demo reel allows people to see a snapshot of your best work. You will have the opportunity to see the incredible creations produced by award-winning director of photography, Eric Peltier, who has directed notable projects for film, video and commercial work.
