Born in a Parisian cab because his mom didn't have time to get out of the editing room, Eric Peltier was fated to return to editing and did he ever! Eric worked in the 80's as a Cameraman/Editor for
Canal Plus
and
Paris Premiere
, both major French TV stations. In 1990, Eric left Paris to travel around the world, and experience new cultures. He ended up in San Francisco three- years. Eric ultimately came back to his real calling: Shoot, edit, design and now good wine. For the past 15 years, he has worked as a Director, Director of Photography, and Editor on numerous award-winning documentaries, narrative films, music videos, and commercials. He participated in the development of Apple's Final Cut Pro, and has enjoyed teaching Editing at Bay Area Video Coalition, and the Academy of Art University. For the past 7 years, he has been a leader in High Definition productions, and has acted as technical adviser for a number of projects and studios. Eric has a passion for new media, is always willing to integrate intelligent, cutting-edge ideas in his work, and is constantly experimenting with new ways to tell stories through imagery.
