Susannah Greason Robbins became Executive Director of the San Francisco Film Commission in September 2010. Ms. Robbins has worked in various areas of filming, as an assistant producer at Saatchi & Saatchi DFS Compton, NY, associate producer and researcher for documentaries on The American Masters Series, and as a location scout and location manager of many feature films in the Bay Area. She also ran a successful portrait photography business which she left to come back to the film world. Robbins is combining her entrepreneurial background with her many years of production experience to find new ways to bring more filming to San Francisco.

Brena Bailey, a 14-year veteran of the San Mateo County Convention & Visitors Bureau, Brena heads the San Mateo County Film Commission. It isn’t difficult to attract filmmakers to the area which encompasses South San Francisco to Palo Alto, and Pacifica to the Ano Nuevo ocean side. Brena’s main objective is to create a positive economic impact for the area, thru filming. Her Southern charm, photography skills and marketing background make the perfect combination when promoting San Mateo County filming venues and assisting film makers from all around the world. Having lived and worked in San Mateo County for many years, Brena knows and loves the area well.

She is an active member of the Association of Film Commissioners International (AFCI), California Film Commission (CFC), Film Liaisons in California (FLICS), SF Bay Area Film Commissions, Bay Area Women in Film & Media (BAWIFM), and has also served as a board member of the Film Liaisons in California (FLICS) organization. Brena is currently an active COLA (California “On Location Awards” Show) committee member as well as, active in the Girl Scouting movement in Northern California, a volunteer at the San Mateo Arboretum Society, and is very proud to be working on several committees and as a board member of San Mateo County’s Peninsula Arts Council.
