“The Ins & Outs of International Production”

One of the perks of working in our field is travel to exotic places around the world. If you have the chance to shoot video or photograph outside of the U.S., enjoy the opportunity to explore but watch out for the pitfalls that may come with unfamiliar territory. Listen and ask questions from film, video and media professionals, who have completed projects in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America, as they share real-world tips and examples of things to do to make your production simpler and smoother.

Our panelists:

Misha Antonich, Video Instructor, City College of SF & former Digital Contents Professor Kyungsung University (Republic of Korea)

Jenny Chu, Director, “Yeabu’s Homecoming: A Story from Sierra Leone” (Republic of Sierra Leone)

Eric Peltier, Director Of Photography, Rearden Studios & Owner, TINBOXTWO, formerly with Paris Premiere / Canal Plus (France)

Kelly J Richardson, Director/Producer/Director of Photography, “Without A Net” (Brazil)

Yuriko Gamo Romer, Owner of Flying Carp Productions, Director/Producer, "Be Strong, Be Gentle, Be Beautiful" (Japan)

Yun Suh, Director/Producer/Writer, “City of Borders” (Israel)
